We are writing to send strongest solidarious support and resources to the Palestinian Feminist and Human rights grassroots-led civil society groups working inside and beyond Palestine. As holidays break is upon us, South Feminist Solidarity want to remind you to not give up on the People of Palestine. Here are some suggestions to focus our mobilization efforts, in parallel to the actions of resistance and solidarity people is already undertaking:
- To demand a suspension of the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel from the United Nations (UN).
- To promote and enforce moral and economic sanctions on the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel until it ceases its criminal actions against the population and territory of Palestine.
- To block the supply of weapons, financial flows, technology and goods related to the industrial military complex. To block as well the supply of oil and gas.
- To promote and carry out boycott against companies that support and promote the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel.
- To add pressure on countries to invoke the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, which requires all contracting parties to prevent genocide: only one country is needed to set in motion the process under this Convention. - To demand the immediate resignation of Karim A. A. Khan KC, Lead Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), for his evident bias in favor of the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel, and his refusal to actively invoke the ICC’s role to prosecute Israel war crimes in Palestine.
- To demand the immediate resignation of Alice Wairimu Nderitu, UN Secretary General’s Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide. She has not condemned Israel’s attacks on Palestinian civilians, the root causes of the criminal spree carried out in the territory of Palestine, nor the numerous statements by Israel’s leaders indicating genocidal intent. No reaction to the many statements made experts around the world in recognizing that the actions of the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel against the Palestinian people constitute an unfolding genocide.
- To support and strengthen initiatives to bring the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel to the International Criminal Court and other judiciary entities (such as International Court of Justice) that may hold it accountable.
- To demand an expert neutral committee to review and address with enforcing recommendations the case of exceptionality that the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel enjoys in the UN, and to implement measures to impede any other case of exceptionality in the future in the multilateral body.
- To denounce to the International Criminal Court the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, France and other countries, for aiding and abetting the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Settler Colonial Apartheid project that is Israel.
