The youth advocates have often worked in areas related to human rights, sustainable development, climate change, food security, health, among others within the UN bodies, as they raise their voices demanding policies and programs that do not overlook them. It is often the case that those who are not in decision making positions are left out, and they cannot profit from the benefits and often have to cope with the burden of the externalities.
